Hill calls Team Apatow the “Steppenwolf of Fuck Jokes”
There’s something about Jonah Hill’s eager enthusiasm on his recent talk show appearances. Last night on Jimmy Kimmel, Hill once again displayed these qualities in an interview that touched on his love of the Los Angeles Lakers, working and “knowing” P. Diddy, and a bit about his role in Funny People. Most hilariously, Hill talked about a prank he pulled on frequent Team Apatow producer Shauna Robertson and an encounter with Lakers coach Phil Jackson.
Kimmel asked Hill about his frequent work with Judd Apatow and other actors, calling the team “a repertoire theatre group.” Hill clarified and used the term ”Steppenwolf of Fuck Jokes.” This is a reference to the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago.
