‘Date Night’ Trailer is Nothing Short of Awesome

Steve Carell
If you loved Get Smart, you’re sure to love Steve Carell’s next action-comedy, Date Night. The trailer for the April 2010 film was released today and it looks amazing. It’s funny and full of action, and definitely features some great chemistry with Carell alongside costar Tina Fey. We also see glimpses of costars Mark Wahlberg, Common, James Franco, and Mila Kunis.

I was expecting something way more tame than this.
Very nice surprise
I dunno, I think a more simple rom com between these two leads would have been funnier, it just seems like a high concept plot that will probably go nowhere.
this looks amazing! Thanks for posting
Jack,
Obviously, we’ll see how the concept works when this hits theatres. But a simple rom com isn’t what Carell and especially Fey would do. That’s Kate Hudson or Sandra Bullock territory.
First I want to express my love for Steve Carroll and Get Smart. However, with that said I use to like Tina Fey but in the past year I feel she has become too overexposed. That woman needs to take an extended vacation from everything. It’s getting tiresome seeing or hearing her name. For that reason I’m not at all psyched about this. If only Steve’s counterpart was somebody else.
I didn’t mean like that type of simple rom com, more like Dan In Real Life, off beat, quirky comedy. In fact they’d both work well as leads in a Woody Allen movie.
What a sweet cast. Carrell, Fey, Common, Franco, Kunis. Great mix of frat pack, SNL, Team Apatow and some randoms.
