Jack Black Nominated for Video Game Award

Jack Black Salutes Satan at the VMAs
We’re not sure how well the Brutal Legend videogame is selling, but Jack Black’s voice work and promotion of the game seem to have paid off with several nominations today for the Spike TV’s Video Game Awards (VGA).
Black was nominated for Best Voice and Brutal Legend was nominated for Best Cast and Best Soundtrack.
In other notable nominations, Kristen Bell (Couples Retreat) was nominated for Best Performance by a Human Female for Assassin’s Creed 2.
Nominees for the 2009 VGAs were selected by an advisory council made up of experts in the video game industry. Winners are chosen by that group and by fans, who can cast their votes in 28 categories at VGA.Spike.Com.
The seventh annual Video Game Awards will air on Spike TV on Dec. 12
