The smartphone wars are heating up this holiday season, and AT&T is feeling the heat from Verizon’s “there’s a map for that” ads. How are they countering (besides lawsuits…). The cellphone carrier has turned to Luke Wilson to explain the benefits of AT&T’s network in a new commercial. The Frat Pack actor uses his trademark charm to extol the benefits of AT&T while getting in a slam at Verizon.

I have been a big fan of Luke Wilson until he does all these at&t ads. What a sellout! Actors should stick to what they do best. Act. Leave it to the boring corporate guys to fight their battles.
