New Movie Parodies Apatow Films

apatow-parodyI guess it was only a matter of time before the films of Judd Apatow were made into a parody film. The 40 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It is the real title of real film coming soon to home video (what, no theatrical release?).

On the plus side, the film stars Bryan Callen who appeared briefly in Old School (”Love, it’s a motherfucker”) and The Hangover. Callen also was very good opposite Rachael Harris and Kirstie Alley in the underrated Showtime series, Fat Actress.

The film also stars Noureen DeWulf who you might have seen in films starring lesser Frat Pack films The Goods and The Comebacks.

And after that… well, there’s a guy who does a good Seth Rogen impression and a guy who does a good Jonah Hill.

I’m going to go against the grain and say this film is going to be awesome. Not awesome in a good way, like with Anchorman. But awesome in the way that I still think that David Koechner’s spoof bomb The Comebacks is funny in kind of a stupid way even on repeat viewing.

I know… I might be the only one. Pity me.

The Comebacks is still one of the worst films I’ve ever seen. You know I’m never gonna let you live that one down, Kev

God this looks terrible. The dumbest idea, “spoof comedies”? RETARDED!!!
