James marsden does not come close to the performance Alan tudyk does, nor does luke wilson compared to his counter-part, though i love him (and thought i might like it because he's in it. but he would have been better as james marsden's character) though; i love danny glover, and peter dinklage, peter's performance from what i saw was like "yep been here before." the insults aren't in poor taste, listen to any stand up comic and those type of jokes are there. you have to be able to take the a stereotypes about people and just realize they are actually there to some degree. people just need to be less politically correct (which is a joke now a days) and get a better sense of humour I love the movie death at funeral, so while watching the preview for this remake i found parts funny because i took what happened and remembered the original version and how funny it was. but you can not compare it. Luke would be the only draw for me. I like Rock and Morgan up to a certain point, but not really my bag. I haven't seen the original version, but I'm more interested in seeing that than this. We may have to agree to disagree but I'd watch Chris Rock in the lead in over whoever it was who starred in the British version.
