‘Middle Men’ Trailer with Luke Wilson
We briefly mentioned Middle Men the other day, but I’ve got to say if this movie comes out in 2010 along with Tenure, Luke Wilson’s other long-gestating release, it just might be a comeback of the year for the youngest Wilson brother. Middle Men puts Luke Wilson front and center at what appears to be an exciting film filled with profanity, drugs, wisecracks, porn, nudity, violence, and perhaps even a life lesson. What’s not to love?
The film also stars Giovanni Ribisi, Gabriel Macht, Kevin Pollak, James Caan, Laura Ramsey, Jacinda Barrett, Robert Forster, Christopher McDonald, Terry Crews, Rade Serbedzija and Kelsey Grammer. Here’s the synopsis from the film’s MySpace site.
Jack Harris has a faithful and loving wife, two beautiful children, and a successful career fixing companies. When an associate calls him about an opportunity to help turn around a business that has fallen into trouble, he decides to take the job. Little does he know, it is a decision that will change his life in ways he never expected.
Jack meets with Wayne Beering and Buck Dolby, two genius but troubled men who have invented a way to sell adult entertainment over the internet. The plan was brilliant but the execution wasn’t; They were making money hand-over-fist and losing it just as fast. Seeing the potential, Jack agrees to partner with Buck and Wayne, devising a way to bill the entertainment through a third party, taking the guilt out of the ultimate guilty pleasure.
Before he knows it, he finds himself caught between the Russian mob, a 23-year old porn star, the FBI and losing his family in the process of becoming rich.
Witness a story so outrageous, you won’t believe it’s true. A story that proves business is a lot like sex… getting in is easy, pulling out is hard.
Gotta love that tagline… getting in is easy, pulling out is hard.

As per Wilson’s recent trend, the film seems to be in release limbo, but a lengthy very R-Rated trailer has surfaced on Kevin Pollock’s Chat Show. The trailer starts at the 45:35 mark.
So, what do you think ? Does this movie look as interesting and excited to you as it does to me?
Big thanks to The Moving Picture for finding this and doing the initial post about the trailer’s availability.

What a long trailer! I feel like I’ve seen the whole movie, haha.
This should be good if it can score a release. Looks like a great showcase for Luke
very long trailer, but this movie looks pretty awesome. It looks like luke wilson is finally back in a quality film. I’m looking forward to it
This looks REALLY good. It has a “Blow” feel to it. LOVE Giovanni Ribisi. And it’s nice to see Luke and James Caan teaming up again.
