First Look at ‘The Other Guys’ with Will Ferrell

Ferrell and WahlbergMTV has an inside look from the set of Adam McKay’s next film, The Other Guys, starring Will Ferrell. Also appearing are Mark Wahlberg, Rob Riggle, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, and Steve Coogan. Featured in the vignette are rival cops played by Duane Johnson (Get Smart) and Samuel L. Jackson who gets off a hilarious line at the end of the segment.

The Other Guys is scheduled for Summer 2010 and while I’m honestly not too excited yet, this first look is a good sign. This is the first Ferrell/McKay film not under the Apatow Productions banner, so we’ll see if Jimmy Williams can bring the right kind of comedic sensibility to this cop caper. There’s certainly enough A-list talent, that’s for sure.

    I’m sold, this is gonna b great. I am surprised that Apatow is not producing though. Does anybody know why he isn’t?

    Haha gotta love Samuel L. Jackson. I can’t see any interaction between him and Will not being hilarious. Can’t wait.
