Segel and Dracula Rock ‘Late Late Show’
Now we know why Jason Segel was spotting leaving his house with his Dracula puppet: it was in preparation for a performance on the 1000th episode of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. The show featured an all-puppet cast, interviewing live guests such as Kristen Bell and Jason Schwartzman.
Segel was the musical guest, performing Forgetting Sarah Marshall’s “Dracula’s Lament” as Dracula, backed by the band The Broken West. The song was a much more fleshed out version that the piano solo version from the film, this time played as an upbeat rock song. It was a very fun version to watch. No word yet if Segel has any future plans on releasing this arrangement of the song.
The original version:

I like this. Where’s that damn ‘like’ button?
But why does he always have to look like a burglar when he’s with the puppet? I can understand the look if he’s with Lohan, but c’mon.
Dracula raising the roof is pretty badass, isn’t it?
