Jack Black appeared on NBC’s Community tonight as a community college student who wanted to join the study group featured in the show. After much discussion Black’s character was finally admitted to the group but just as the episode was ending there was a twist ending featuring a character played by Owen Wilson.

This is the first time Black and Wilson have worked together directly since the now-legendary Heat Vision and Jack, a failed 1999 sitcom pilot produced by Ben Stiller (who also appeared). Black was the star of the show, playing an astronaut who had super powers, while Wilson played the voice of a talking motorcycle.

Owen: “The Group thought about what you said. We took a vote and guess what? You’re in.”

Jack: “Oooh, no way? I’m in the cool group?”

Yes, Jack. You are…

BTW: you like the Ben-Stiller-in-Anchorman style of editing Owen Wilson in the scene without actually being there? lol

I can’t help to keep an eye on Owen’s hair! Maybe it’s his magic who looks more younger~
