Sick of “awards season” yet? Well, here in Fratville we’re just getting started. Our annual Frat Pack Tribute Earmuff Awards mirror the Oscar timeline, so while we’re a little behind last year we’re still in good shape for this year’s Earmuffs.

The Earmuff Awards recognize achievement in films and projects by the Frat Pack (Jack Black, Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson, and Owen Wilson) and their friends (including Judd Apatow, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, John C. Reilly, Jonah Hill, Adam McKay, Todd Phillips).

This is your opportunity to nominate your favorite films and actors from 2009. Did you feel that Observe and Report was misunderstood? Now is your chance to recognize the film. Were you a lover of the maligned Land of the Lost? You can nominate the film for Best Picture.  Or, do you put your money on the guys from Todd Phillips’ The Hangover. Perhaps there is a performance or cameo or catch-phrase you’re fond of. The Earmuffs has something for everyone.

So, make your picks. You get three per category and at the end of the voting we’ll tally everything up and announce the five official nominees per category. And you’ll have the opportunity to vote for the winners as well.

Now, we happen to think that the opportunity to vote for your favorite film is reward enough. But, as an added bonus, we’re offering a free two-disc edition of Funny People to one randomly selected voter.
