This weekend msn.com had a nice article on some of our favorite funny ladies.  Although they aren’t full fledged Frat Packers, these ladies have contributed so some of the best Frat Pack movies and current shows.

This article takes a look at Saturday Night Live’s funniest female alums.  Interestingly enough, these ladies aren’t as much recognized for their work on SNL, but to their contributions to comedy in general.  Not all of these ladies shined on SNL like Amy Poehler or Maya Rudolph.  Some of our favorites, Janeane Garafolo left mid-season, and Sarah Silverman was fired after only one!

Although the ladies aren’t always the headliners, where would projects like The Ben Stiller Show, School of Rock, and Blades of Glory be without them?

Check out the full article.

I was so glad to see Garofalo do some work on the fauxmentary Rain of Madness. Would be nice to see more of her for sure.

So funny about this article. I actually watched SNL a lot during Julie Louis-Dreyfus’ heyday (and liked her husband Brad Hall who was also a castmember). She was the one actor I knew on Seinfeld when it started.

    Thanks for posting.
