Actress Elizabeth Banks will host the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards on February 20 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. Banks will present 15 awards to 45 individual recipients during the evening.
I love how they nearly always get some hot, completely unattainable, babe to host the technical Oscar ceremony. Recent hosts include Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Kate Hudson, Rachel McAdams, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. In fact, you’d have to go back all the way to 1996 to find a man hosting this event.
