ANOTHER McBride / Ansari Project?

It remains to be seen if this is the new Stiller/Wilson comedy duo or not, but Deadline is reporting that Mandate Pictures has acquired an untitled comedy pitch from Aziz Ansari and 30 Rock writer Matt Hubbard, that Harris Wittels will write as a star vehicle for Ansari and Danny McBride. This follows recent news that Ansari and McBride were in talks for another project called 30 Minutes or Less.
Clearly these two have similar comic sensibilities, but do you think these two could make for an effective comedy pairing? Both strike me as the “loud obnoxious one” in a comedic pairing, which goes against the crazy/mellow dynamic of most successful Frat Pack comedy pairings (Stiller/Wilson, Vaughn/Wilson, Carell/Rudd, Ferrell/Reilly).
Best Frat Pack pairing of all time, Vince and Owen, Wedding Crashers. It just came natural, and delivered pure hilariousness.
