‘Green Hornet’ Photos Surface. Trailer Debuts (updated)
Yahoo! Movies has released two photos from the forthcoming Seth Rogen movie, Green Hornet. The film is directed by Michel Gondry and stars Rogen as Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher who fights crime in his free time. He is aided by sidekick Kato played by Jay Chou.

Green Hornet will debut in theatres on January 14, 2011 in both 2D and 3D formats, including IMAX theatres. Seth Rogen will be a guest on tonight’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and will debut the trailer for the movie on the show.
What do you think of these photos? Are they getting you more or less excited to see Seth Rogen as a crime-fighter?

Wow, the most surprising thing to me is just “Pineapple Express” its tone is. I’ve always been sketchy about this project because I was expecting a darker Seth (Observe & Report Seth.) But it looks like an expansion of his trademark persona.
Not a bad thing mind you (the whole thing looks really fun), I just wasn’t expecting it to as comedic as the trailer feels.
Kind of looks like Beverly Hills Ninja with a more gangster feeling to it and an absense of fat jokes haha… Cant wait to see it.
I’m really hoping they are playing up the “Seth Rogen” moments for purposes of the trailer (see also: Observe and Report). But this does look fun!
