Will Ferrell Magazine Cover Season

Will Ferrell
You know that Will Ferrell has a movie coming out when you start seeing him on the covers of magazines. After appearing last month on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, Ferrell is now on the cover of Wired.
The EW piece wasn’t any great shakes but did remind us of the first time Ferrell and The Other Guys costar Mark Wahlberg first me. It occurred during a song and dance on an obscure show called The Academy Awards, where Ferrell was joined by a couple of guys you might have heard of before. It is, of course, a seminal Frat Pack moment. Ferrell even called Wahlberg “very cool and talented” during the song.
The Wired article is a concept piece, putting Ferrell into a series of photos about “the Future that Never Happened.” In addition to scientists and futurist who pine for the days when we thought we’d have nuclear spaceships, Ferrell wrote some pieces as well. The article isn’t online yet, but the best of Ferrell’s gags is worth checking out and seeking out on newsstands.
Will Ferrell’s Wish List: A Birthday Cake with a Burrito Inside
It’s been like this for years: You slice into a birthday cake, hoping for a surprise, and instead you get, well, just plain cake. Wouldn’t it be nice to cut open a birthday cake and find a delicious 2-pound burrito nestled in there? Then you could truly have your cake and eat it, too. Not to mention, it would solve the age-hold problem of finishing off an entire birthday cake only to end up ordering out for burritos an hour later. Annoying, right? You know what I’m talking about.
We know, Will. We know…
