Who doesn’t love a good viral video? Will Ferrell has starred in a number of them over the years, most notably with the SNL “More Cowbell” sketch and the landmark “The Landlord” video that launched comedy site Funny Or Die.

With a new movie coming out, it’s no surprise to see Ferrell and his The Other Guys costars appearing in viral videos. Ferrell has also been appearing on talk shows to promote the movie, often to funnier result.

Case in point, check these two FunnyOrDie videos featuring Ferrell in his The Other Guys character mode, and another with costar Eva Mendes. Are these funny? Um… don’t get your hopes up.

Not exactly funny, right?

But, thankfully, here’s an example of Ferrell’s excellent physical comedy skills, and some great improvised one-liners. This is from an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and includes Fallon’s well-known penchant for breaking up during the comedy sketch (see also: “More Cowbell”). But, I have to say, this very simple premise is way funnier than the two FunnyOrDie pieces put together. Check it out!
