That way he could try to sabotage and promote his own agenda in order to be made permanent boss, while interviewees would be "auditioning" for the part - on the actual show. Lots of new storylines to be had from it, at least. And lots of guest stars. PS: Rhys Darby is totally awesome. Packer is similar to Scott because he has friction with many of the employees already and he is already apart of the show so it wouldnt be an awkward transition from Scott to a completely new character.
