I don't think Owen Wilson has a set city where he likes to film in. Wedding Crashers is his only other DC film. In this case, DC was probably the director's choice since it's James L. Brooks writing and directing. Also, like The Royal Tenenbaums, this doesn't seem like a general Frat Pack movie either because of James L. Brooks.

Im excited to see Owen do alot more stuff like he used to. It seems his career has stiffened ever since his accident. Seeing Rudd with Wilson will be fun, it kind of reminds one of the Vaughn/Wilson go-arounds, but only similar. I like to see how the guys each use a city to shoot a majority of their movies in too, seems like Owen's maybe be DC, kinda like how you can expect to see Vaughn in Chicago in every movie.

I know this will be more top heavy on the drama, but I'm excited to see Rudd and Wilson on screen together. They're my 2 favorite comedy actors.

I thought the trailer was forgettable, but still looks like a quality movie. At least Rudd is playing a meatier character than his Schmucks character. Here, we can actually get a sense of his personality and emotional drive.

This was a weird trailer for me. I thought Owen was hilarious, Rudd, Nicholson and Witherspoon seemed really good, I'm interested in the story... but I thought it was edited in a really weird way. Like, the rhythm was off, or something, at least in the beginning. Sort of not tight enough, like the opening in silence and no music: It's not instantly clear who the main character is, what the movie is about, where it's going (but maybe that's a deliberate point, since that IS what the movie is about, not knowing where you're going)... It kind of wore off after I watched it a few times, and I could sort of see the structure. But I still think the trailer could be better.

Anyway, regardless of the trailer, though, I think it will be a really, really good film for Owen, he looks his very "a-hole-with-a-heart" best. I actually don't know how it will end, which is refreshing, but I have my suspicions. Of course, for Laura's sake, I'm going to hope for a threesome at the end (I think she has a petition out that you can sign... Seriously, Rudd and Owen must be her dream sandwich), but I don't think it's headed that way. More like, the opposite...

Well, maybe the title will actually stick this time.

This film looks great. Nice to see a bit of the old 'a-hole' Owen doing his thing. And we must credit Paul Rudd for "stretching" as an actor here... doesn't look like there's a whiff of "bromance" in the air at all.
