Jason Segel and Rashida Jones on the set of Friends with Benefits

Despite no previous casting announcement being made, I Love You, Man co-stars Jason Segel and Rashida Jones have been spotted in Los Angeles filming scenes for the comedy Friends with Benefits. And for this film, their roles are much closer than their previous collaboration. “No ladge between the vag,” indeed!

In photos posted over at the Accidental Sexiness Blog, the two shot scenes in which Segel
proposes to Jones
. Considering this is a fairly late addition to a film that’s been in production for a few weeks, perhaps this scene might be a cameo.

The film, which opens July 22, 2011, features a wide cast of familiar faces including Justin Timberlake, Mila Kuns (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Woody Harrellson, Emma Stone (Superbad), Richard Jenkins (Step Brothers) and Andy Samberg (another I Love You, Man alum.)

Segel’s summer hiatus from How I Met Your Mother has been busy, having filmed a supporting role in Bad Teacher (opposite Timberlake and Cameron Diaz) and a starring role in Jeff Who Lives at Home (opposite Ed Helms.) Segel will also be filming his long-discussed Muppet Movie during weekends this Fall, while shooting Mother during the week. Plans also seem to be shaping up to finally film Apatow Productions’ Five-Year Engagement next Spring, which he co-wrote with Sarah Marshall/Get Him to the Greek director Nick Stoller. Jason Segel will next be seen opposite Jack Black in Gulliver’s Travels this December.

And yes, Rashida Jones just finished shooting My Idiot Brother with… I Love You, Man’s Paul Rudd.
