Jason Segel

The new trailer for the family comedy Gulliver’s Travels was released and it is quite a bit more promising than the movie posters with lame graphic design.

There’s a big focus on Jack Black’s character, of course. But the new trailer gives more than a passing glimpse at the character played by Jason Segel. ¬†We know that Jack and Segel are buds, but it remains to be seen how the chemistry will appear on-screen when the actors are clearly not working together. It worked for Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in Night at the Museum, so one has hopes.

What do you think? Do you like the new trailer?

Kind of reminded me of Land Of The Lost. Segel is hilarious, I remembered when people said that his character was overshadowed by Rudd in I Love You, Man and should have been played by Owen Wilson. I thought he shined and I laughed more at his witty remarks than anything.

I’m sure if Land of the Lost had been a big hit, like Night at the Museum was, that they would have found a way to tie the two films. “From the studio that was inspired by Land of the Lost comes…”

I really hope this is good, Land of the Lost had so much potential but it could not find the right balance between kids movie and sex comedy (Danny McBrides performace bring me to tears…from laughter). I sincerely hope they get this film right, the cast looks good enough it’s really down to the script and director now I feel.

I love Jack Black and Jason Segel, but this movie looks terrible. Plus I hate 3D, so I definitely won’t see it in theaters.

I’m with Chris on this one. It looks like they should’ve just called it Night at the Museum 3.

Good to see Chris O’Dowd from the IT Crowd in another Frat Pack flick (he was the blind dude at the end of Dinner for Schmucks).
