Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller on SNL

Ben Stiller made his first appearance on SNL since 1998, in a cameo appearance on the Robert De Niro-hosted December 4th episode.

Stiller was on-hand for two sketches. The first followed an excited fan (Bobby Moynihan) visiting the Little Fockers set, who isn’t quite impressed with film legend De Niro.

A+ on the shoutout for Stiller’s little-seen heroin-addiction drama, Permanent Midnight.

Stiller appeared later in the episode in a sketch revolving around the phrase, “Who do I have to screw to get a drink around here?”

The first one was pretty funny. So glad they went with the Permanent Midnight joke. It bombed with the audience but was true to the character. If they had gone with Greenberg to be more current I wouldn’t have blamed them.
