Jack Black Hosts Kids Choice Awards for Third Time, Segel/Lynch Hilarious, Carrey Slimed

Jack Black hosted the 2011 Kids Choice Awards, which aired tonight. This is the third time Black has hosted the awards show, after previous stints in 2006 and 2008. The Kung Fu Panda star made a big entrance with a splashy and well-performed version of “I Gotta Feeling.”

Also appearing were Russell Brand (who was unexpectedly and hilariously pelted with slime), as well as Jane Lynch and Jason Segel who had genuinely funny banter:

Segel even had a chance to display his “creepy guy” face.
