Rob Riggle, the Daily Show/SNL alum best known for scene-stealing roles in The Hangover, Step Brothers and The Other Guys, is in talks to play the villain for Jonah Hill’s upcoming 21 Jump Street remake.

Riggle would play a member of D.A.D. (Dads Against Drugs), while secretly being a drug supplier. Riggle is the latest joining the all-star cast including Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube and Brie Larson. Filming is scheduled to being production later this month.

Rob Riggle will next be seen in Tom Hanks’ Larry Crowne and the Matt Walsh-directed indie High Road. In addition to frequent appearances on the current season of FunnyOrDie Presents, Riggle also recently filmed a sitcom pilot for CBS titled Home Game, produced by his Other Guys co-star Mark Wahlberg. Should the pilot be picked up for the Fall 2011 season, Riggle would star as an NFL player returning home after retirement.
