Steve Carell Dominates in ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ Trailer

Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid Love
The trailer for Steve Carell’s newest comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love has been released. It provides strong hopes for another humorous summer comedy from Dunder Mifflins former boss.
Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling does not exactly sound like a comedy dream team from heaven, however in the trailer for their latest filmĀ Crazy, Stupid, Love has a bromance that looks nearly as good as that of Paul Rudd and Jason Segel in I Love You, Man. The trailer can be found here on Apple’s Trailer website.
The film is about recently divorced Carell taking advice on how to pick up women from ladies man Gosling (read the premise below).
Both Carell and Gosling look very funny in the film which features supporting roles from close friend Emma Stone (Easy A), Julianne Moore, and Kevin Bacon. While the trailer looks extremely well0-done it does show signs of being similar to Dan in Real Life, however I feel that Steve is on top of his game in Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Premise from IMDB:
A father’s life unravels while he deals with a marital crisis and tries to manage his relationship with his children.

“Seriously, it’s like you’re photoshopped” is this year’s “This is like a screensaver.”
This is the kind of Steve Carell I enjoy. Not so much the over the top Steve Carell from Dinner for Schmucks.
i agree..i think he is stronger when he is subtle (ex. virgin)
Looks great to me
That yellow polo shirt surely reminded me of Virgin.
I think Christian and I have a different interpretation of the word “Subtle”. Smelly Piehole! Ohhhh, Kelly Clarkson!!!
yeah but he wasn’t screaming the whole time. he was layed back and didnt do anything outrageous
i also get a leslie mann knocked up vibe from julianne moore.
Wow, it’s been a while since we’ve seen Steve not running on autopilot for a movie. Everyone seems to be on their A-Game for this one.
Carell should leave the bumbling buffoon on the set of The Office. That’s where it worked best and that’s where it should remain.
I saw this back in October. The trailer isn’t quite what I thought what they’d put together but it’s a fair representation. I’m curious to see it again.
Oscar?
