Some quick but interesting casting tidbits. Jason Sudekis, hot from Horrible Bosses, has been added to the upcoming season of HBO’s Eastbound & Down. Sudekis will recur as a friend of Danny McBride’s Kenny Powers character, and appear in multiple episodes. The third (and presumably last) season of Eastbound is filming this summer.

Meanwhile, Bridesmaids breakout star Melissa McCarthy has been added to Judd Apatow’s currently-filming sequel to Knocked Up. The still untitled film is rumored to be called This is Forty, but that title is not yet official. McCarthy joins the cast that includes Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Maude Apatow (who’s tweets have been entertaining), Megan Fox, and Albert Brooks. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Super 8’s Ryan Lee has also joined the cast as McCarthy’s son (and maybe a love interest for Apatow?).
