Luke Wilson in Enlightened

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Luke Wilson on screen, but for those who’ve missed the youngest member of the Frat Pack you are now in luck with the debut of Enlightened on HBO tonight. Wilson is a series regular who plays the ex-husband of series star Laura Dern. Also starring is Diane Ladd (Dern’s mother), Sarah Burns (I Love You, Man), Timm Sharp (Undeclared), and Amy Hill.

Enlightened follows the story of Amy Jellicoe, a self-destructive executive, who, after a very public breakdown and a subsequent philosophical awakening in rehabilitation, tries to get her life back together. HBO has ordered ten episodes for the first season of the series.

I kinda liked it. Luke was great, as always.

So far so good. Wilson looks to be a good counterbalance for Dern who is quite energetic…

One thing I have to say is that she acts a lot like the wives do in Big Love. They all share the same, chaotic personality.
