Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson

Deadline is reporting that Owen Wilson and Christopher Walken are joining previously announced Paul Rudd in the cryogenics comedy Freezing People is Easy. Kristen Wiig is also considering the project, one of several being eyed for her once completing this season of Saturday Night Live.

Rudd will star as George Nelson, a 1960’s television repairman who begins experimenting with cryogenics, the process of freezing humans for future resurrection, only to discover the process far more difficult than he imagined. Oscar-winning documentarian Errol Morris will direct, making his feature film debut, from a script written by Zach Helm (Stranger than Fiction) based on an episode of This American Life, inspired by Nelson’s memoir We Froze the First Man.

Rudd and Wilson previously co-starred together in 2010’s  How Do You Know.

Another Rudd and Wilson project. Great news. This looks like a great cart.

  2. This sounds fantastic, has Errol Morris directed fiction before?
