Comments on: Hill, McCarthy and Wiig among Oscar Nominees

As much as I liked Bridesmaids, McCarthy and Wiig’s script did not deserve Oscar Noms. McCarthy did nothing original to deserve the Nomination. 50/50 was the biggest snub in the screenplay category and seeing Bridesmaids there instead of it, you realize how stupid the Academy is.

The Oscars are always a joke. Good to see some people I like getting nominated for things, but winning an Academy Award is not a good indication of anything.

So funny that now Seth Rogen’s “The Apocalypse” will have 2 Oscar nominees (Hill & Franco.) You know there will be some kind of joke about that.

The two-song Best Song category remains the biggest joke among the nomination list. Congrats to Hill, McCarthy, and Wiig on the nominations.
