Jack Black and Kyle Gass were forced by police to cut short their recent Tenacious D show at Madalay Bay in Las Vegas after an altercation in the audience led to two people being stabbed with non-life-threatening injuries. According to published reports, the planned 90 minute set was cut short by about 30 minutes and the audience was held in the venue for a short time. Frontman Black told the audience, “This is no joke. Due to a serious situation, we’re shutting it down. We can only play one more song, but we’re gonna rock it out.” The band then played their signature hit, “Tribute.”

One person was taken into custody, according to police. The band is touring to support their latest album Rize of the Fenix the debuted in the U.S. and U.K. Top 10 charts in May.
