Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz has released two new Disney Park portraits featuring celebrity recreations of Disney theme park favorite characters and scenes. Jack Black, Will Ferrell and Jason Segel form the trio of hitchhiking ghosts from the Haunted Mansion and Russell Brand appears as Captain Hook from Peter Pan’s Flight.

The hitchhiking ghosts are famed mascots for the attraction that opened at Disneyland in 1969 and at the Magic Kingdom in 1971. The trio are the Prisoner (Segel), the Skeleton (Ferrell), and the Traveler (black). Some fans attribute the names  ”Gus” (Prisoner), “Ezra” (Skeleton), and “Phineas” (Traveler) to the trio, though official Disney sources are mixed on these names.   Here’s a photo of the trio from the actual attraction for a comparison, and aside from Segel’s height the famous funnymen seem to be very well cast.

Also released was a photo of Russell Brand as Captain Hook, reprising a scene from the Peter Pan movie and also featured in Peter Pan’s Flight. That attraction opened with Disneyland in 1955 and the Magic Kingdom in 1971.
