Nicholas Stoller’s next film Townies is coming together with an impressive cast. The film centers on a fraternity president played by Zac Efron who makes life difficult for his neighbor played by Seth Rogen. This would mark the first big-screen collaboration between Team Apatow vets Stoller and Rogen, though both worked on Judd Apatow’s college TV series Undeclared. Rogen and Evan Goldberg are serving as producers and the script is from Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien

Joining the cast, according to Deadline, are Dave Franco (21 Jump Street) and Christopher Mintz-Plasse who previously appeared together on Funny or Die (video below). O’Brien previously worked with a series of Funny or Die videos with Franco who will be playing the VP of the frat. There are no details on Mintz-Plasse’s role, though he’s more likely to be a member of the frat than a member of Rogen’s family. The film would mark the third time the pair have appeared in the same film, following Superbad and Fright Night.

Also set to appear is Rose Byrne who will appear as Rogen’s wife.¬†After costarring in Get Him to the Greek and Bridemaids, Byrne suddenly seems to be a go-to leading lady for Team Apatow. Bryne also plays Owen Wilson’s love interest in The Internship this summer.
