Does it count as a Frat Pack movie if one member is in a supporting role and the other is writer/producer?
If so then Rushmore (1998) should be added to the list as it has Luke Wilson in the supporting role and Owen Wilson as the writer/producer. It also has Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray and Wes Anderson (director).
It shouldn’t (especially in this case as the tone of Rushmore is not similar to the rest of the classic Frat Pack movies).

Shouldn’t you include ‘You, Me & Dupree’, because it stars Owen Wilson & Frat Pack pledge Seth Rogen? IS Paul Rudd a member of the frat pack?

If we’re now including Paul Rudd on the chart, should we had “The Locusts” as it stars Vince Vaughn and Rudd. I know it doesn’t quite fit the mold of a fratpack style movie as its a drama, but at least it will give fans reference to and older movie that they’ve likely never heard of.
If you do not include You, Me and Dupree then you can’t technically include step brothers as that also includes just one member and one pledge

At the top of the page it says this list may include “movies with a single star that we consider as a Frat Pack Classic.” Step Brothers is “in” but not Dupree. Judgement call…

Seth Rogen isn’t listed because he isn’t a full member of the Frat Pack. As of the end of 2009 we officially consider Paul Rudd as a full member of the Pack.

Adam, Rogen hasn’t worked with the primary members of the Pack, certainly not as much as the more age-appropriate Paul Rudd has. So, if he starts doing films with several members of the Pack then maybe…
Just a suggestion, you should also have a Close Contributors (friends) film page. There are a lot of movie which have the Frat Pack “spirit” but only star one core member or none and only feature close contributors, like Despicable Me, Date Night, The Other Guys, Super Bad, Pineapple Express, etc.

We had this on the old site… and it might return in the future.
Our criteria for “Frat Pack” films does include films with a single FP star but with similar theme and familiar costars (e.g. Along Came Polly, Talladega Nights).

Seth Rogen is TEAM APATOW. He must stay there! Paul Rudd was sort of Team Apatow but he has done much more with The FP recently. You should make a site devoted to team apatow.

Dave, you’re saying this should be on the chart as a “one Fratter but similar genre”? I hadn’t thought of that, but with Rudd as a full member (not just a Frat Pack friend, like Segel) it definitely could be classified that way.
